The BB30 standard opened up design possibilities for frames. Adapting it for Shimano cranks takes a special machined aluminum threaded bottom bracket
that threads into itself.
Ours are finished with CeramicSpeed Bearings. You have two choices in terms of bearings. The first choice is our low drag, long life standard
bearing, with hardened−steel races and our super round CeramicSpeed Balls. The second choice is our coated bearing, which uses those same balls
installed on coated, hardened−steel races for longer life and less bearing drag.

This bottom bracket works with cranks that have 24mm thru−axle spindles.
Bottom brackets have several variables, but within that, CeramicSpeed standard Bearings typically have frictional drag of 0.3−0.4 watts per
set. That’s in the range of a 75% drag reduction compared to standard bottom brackets. That’s thanks to balls that are 100% smoother and 15% harder
than the ceramic competition. The CeramicSpeed Bearings last at least three times longer than other bearings.
Coated Bearings see another big bump in performance. The coated races see a 50% drag reduction and an improvement in bearing life of 60%.
Performance can be tuned by changing the grease. All Round Grease comes installed, but can be changed for lower drag Race Day Grease, or higher
durability Long Life Grease, which adds a bit of drag but stays in when riding through messy conditions.

BSA is another way of stating English threading; it comes from British Standard Cycle. English threading on road bikes mean a 68mm wide, 34mm inside
diameter shell with reverse threading on the drive side. It’s the most common threaded standard employed today. This kit works with 24mm diameter
thru−axle cranks, found on Shimano, FSA, Rotor, among others.
Choose between two bearings for the cups. Standard Bearings have low drag thanks to hardened−steel races and our Ceramic balls. Coated Bearings
have those same balls installed on coated, hardened−steel races for longer life and less bearing drag.

English threading is easy to work with and the drive side cup, thanks to being reverse−threaded, stays in place without extra effort. 24mm
spindles easily fit through the shell, allow for large bearings to be employed in the outside cups.
Put more of your energy into forward motion by reducing frictional drag wherever you can. CS Standard Bearings typically have frictional drag of
0.3−0.4 watts per set. That’s in the range of a 75% drag reduction compared to standard bottom brackets. CS balls are 100% smoother and 15%
harder than ceramic competition. The bearings last at least 3x longer than other bearings.
Race Day Grease, All Round, and Long Life are greases CS designed to help the bearings roll smoothly. The first is the least drag, the last is the
most durable. All Round comes in road bearings, Long Life in MTB. You can change the grease to tune performance.

BB90 is the Trek oversized bottom bracket standard and is only found on Trek road bikes. The shell is 90.5mm wide and is designed to work with 24mm
spindles and road cranks and have the bearings inside the shell. The CeramicSpeed Bearings come as two bearings, which are then pressed into the
frame.
Those two bearings consist of either CeramicSpeed Standard or Coated Bearings. Both feature super smooth, super round CeramicSpeed Balls contained in
hardened−steel races. The Coated version has a metallic coating laid onto the races, making it even smoother and harder, resulting in lower
drag and longer life.

The PF30 standard is widely used. To make it compatible with Shimano and other 24mm diameter thru−axle cranks, as well as improve the system,
select this bottom bracket.
The package comes with two cups and CeramicSpeed Bearings installed. There are two options. Both Standard and Coated Bearings feature super smooth
CeramicSpeed Balls and hardened−steel races. The CeramicSpeed Coated Bearings have an additional feature: a 3−micron thick metallic layer
over the races. This addition makes the races smoother and harder, lowering drag and increasing life.

The cups have extended sleeves and join with a center section, reducing the likelihood of creaking and increasing the reliability of the system.
The CeramicSpeed Standard Bearings have only 0.3−.04 watts of frictional drag per set, an average drag reduction of 75% compared to stock
bottom brackets. This is the result of great design including hardened−steel races, and CeramicSpeed Balls that are 100% smoother and 15%
harder than the ceramic competition. They also last longer.
The CeramicSpeed Coated Bearings last even longer and feature even lower drag. Life increases by 60% and drag drops by 50% compared to our
CeramicSpeed Standard Bearings.
All Round Grease is installed in the bearings. It can be replaced for lower drag Race Day Grease, or higher durability Long Life Grease, which adds a
bit of drag but stays in when riding through messy conditions.

BBright is the Cervélo bottom bracket standard, found on most of their frames, save the P5. In order to fit Shimano and FSA cranks into this
oversized shell, this bottom bracket, complete with CeramicSpeed Bearings, needs to be pressed in.
